NBAF JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

NBAF Internship Program

As an extension of our mission to expose, educate, engage, and entertain audiences as we present and support the art and artists of African descent, NBAF is offering a 4-month paid internship program to continue supporting emerging artists and students with an interest in a career in the arts. One intern will be chosen per semester to receive a $2,000 stipend for working 2 days/ 8 hours per week.

NBAF offers interns the opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes experience in arts administration, program planning, event production, media curation, and more. Interns will be able to explore various NBAF departments to learn more about the organization and operational functions. In addition, interns will be exposed to NBAF programs in music, dance, film, visual arts, theater, and literary arts.

Qualifications
• Atlanta-based and able to provide own transportation
• Undergraduates (Junior + Seniors) and Graduate Students
• Interest in a career in the arts

Important Dates:

• Interviews Conducted: August 18 - August 23 (conducted on a rolling basis)
• Notify Selected Intern: Friday, August 25
• Start Date: Between Monday, September 5, 2023 - Monday, September 11, 2023
• End Date: Friday, December 17, 2023

Fund Development Coordinator

The NBAF Fund Development Coordinator is a full-time position reporting to the Executive Director. This position is responsible for supporting NBAF in an administrative and development-oriented capacity. In this role, the Coordinator will manage key vendor relationships, donor and email databases as well as subsequent communication on behalf of NBAF. This position is an active member of the development team with grant management duties and will be responsible for supporting and responding to both internal and external stakeholder needs related to fundraising administration and development operations for the organization.
