ART ON THE YARD

In celebration of International Dance Day and in partnership with the Annie E. Casey Foundation and Pittsburgh Yards, NBAF's Youth Programs Department hosted a free dance and arts related programs for the Atlanta community!

NBAF Youth Program Department's "Art on the Yard" took place Saturday and Sunday, April 29th & 30th at Pittsburgh Yards!

NBAF was pleased to partner with Pittsburgh Yards and the Annie E. Casey Foundation to host 2 days of FREE workshop intensives for students and adults on Saturday and Sunday, April 29th & 30th at Pittsburgh Yards located at 352 University Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30310.

Student Workshops

Art on the Yard included immersive art experiences for Atlanta area high school aged students.

Students had the option to choose 2 out of 4 intensive workshops to focus on each day. Art on the Yard gave students a hands-on opportunity to learn and create without the limitations of the school classroom.

Open Workshops

To celebrate International Dance Day NBAF hosted free classes for the Pittsburgh Yards and Atlanta community!

There were 45-minute classes ranging from Capoeira to West African dance.

On day two of the weekend, NBAF hosted 3 free additional classes and a panel discussion with Arts Industry leaders.
