NBAF JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

NBAF Internship Program

As an extension of our mission to expose, educate, engage, and entertain audiences as we present and support the art and artists of African descent, NBAF is offering a 4-month paid internship program to continue supporting emerging artists and students with an interest in a career in the arts. One intern will be chosen per semester to receive a $2,000 stipend for working 2 days/ 8 hours per week.

NBAF offers interns the opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes experience in arts administration, program planning, event production, media curation, and more. Interns will be able to explore various NBAF departments to learn more about the organization and operational functions. In addition, interns will be exposed to NBAF programs in music, dance, film, visual arts, theater, and literary arts.

Qualifications
• Atlanta-based and able to provide own transportation
• Undergraduates (Junior + Seniors) and Graduate Students
• Interest in a career in the arts

Programs & Marketing Manager

Reporting directly to the Artistic Director, National Black Arts seeks a program manager who would assist in managing local and national program initiatives. The program manager will serve as the primary liaison for artists and partner organizations, connecting with the best of the Atlanta arts and culture, festival, event, and performances scenes to share with audiences. The program manager will cultivate and foster partner relationships, curate artist lineups, and collaboratively design events with the Artistic Director and other staff. The Program Manager will also collaborate closely with other National Black Arts staff on programming to include other organizational verticals such as Youth Programs – NextGen.
