As part of the broader Thriving Together Atlanta public art initiative, which is dedicated to addressing racial equity in health, this free festival is designed to nourish body, mind, and spirit. Root and Remedy Pavillion

The Root and Remedy Pavilion is a gathering ground for ancestral wellness, earth-based practices, and cultural activation. Rooted in Black traditions of healing, resistance, and community, this immersive tent invites you to explore how ancient wisdom meets modern life through ritual, remedy, storytelling, and skill-sharing. Throughout the day, festival-goers are invited to experience a vibrant rotation of interactive demonstrations and teachings.

Movement

Start your day on the green with yoga, light stretching, and social dancing. Throughout the afternoon, enjoy demonstrations of movement and healing practices designed to energize the body and restore the spirit.

Youth Activities

This is a “No Electronic Games” zone. Movement activities for kids of all ages will be scheduled hourly from noon to 4 PM. Look and listen for Kids Zone pop-ups at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

The festival is situated on the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail. We highly encourage festivalgoers to get your steps in and use rideshare or bike/walk.
