As an extension of our mission to expose, educate, engage, and entertain audiences as we present and support the art and artists of African descent, NBAF is offering a 3-month paid internship program to continue supporting emerging artists and students with an interest in a career in the arts. One intern will be chosen per semester to receive a $2,000 stipend for working 10 hours/per week.
NBAF offers interns the opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes experience in arts administration, program planning, event production, media curation, and more. Interns will be able to explore various NBAF departments to learn more about the organization and operational functions. In addition, interns will be exposed to NBAF programs in music, dance, film, visual arts, theater, and literary arts.
• Must be available to work in-office Monday and Tuesday for 4 hours between 10AM-4PM and remotely on Thursdays for 2 hours
• Atlanta-based and able to provide own transportation
• Undergraduates (Junior + Seniors) and • Graduate Students
• Interest in a career in the arts
