Whenever we travel in the United States and abroad we encounter an artist, individual or group of people who have attended the National Black Arts Festival at one point or another over the past 24 years.  Without fail they excitedly tell a story about their interaction with artists, other festival-goers or the art itself and how that moment profoundly impacted their lives.   What often begins as a brief introduction often turns into an hour long conversation about this artist, that work or what’s next for NBAF.  As we enter into the 25th Anniversary of the institution we encourage you to financially support NBAF.  We need it now more than ever if we are to continue to tell the stories of a people through the lens and voices of its artists.  Please give your support to NBAF today!
