Information for Volunteers

Greetings, Cultural Ambassadors

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the National Black Arts Festival. The National Black Arts Festival celebrates and promotes the art and culture of the African Diaspora through year-round programming and a summer festival in venues throughout Atlanta. Just as music, dance, film and literature are essential elements of art and culture, the time, talent, energy and enthusiasm of more than 200 volunteers are just as critical to the Festival’s success.

Volunteers are essential to every area of the Festival so whether you have a little or a lot of time to share, there is a place for your talents at the National Black Arts Festival. Flexible hours, evenings and weekends are available and we’ll help you tailor a volunteer opportunity to fit your schedule. Visit one of our orientation sessions to learn more.
