Yo! Karaoke
What do you get when you combine R&B, soul, and hip-hop hits from the 80s and 90s with the frenetic, unpredictable energy of karaoke? It’s Yo! Karaoke!, the underground Tuesday night karaoke phenomenon that has taken the Sweet Auburn District in the Old Fourth Ward by storm. Now, you can be a part of the experience this Sunday at the National Black Arts Festival!
Yo! Karaoke will be on the Main Stage at Centennial Olympic Park at noon on Sunday, and you won’t want to miss it. Heading up the program is Atlanta’s own avant garde artist Fahamu Pecou!
Here’s a little taste of what you can expect:
Join in the Yo! Karaoke experience every Tuesday night from 8:00 p.m. – midnight at Pal’s Lounge on 254 Auburn Avenue. Visit Yo! Karaoke on Facebook for videos, comments, and more!
